Join us at our String Fling Potluck this year on April 18th. Bring a dish to share if you want and join in our Meep making kick off to hand out at the NAMI walk in May. NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Lane County provides vital services in our area and we are excited to support them and the Always Be Kind Yarn team during the NAMI walk to raise awareness around topics of mental health support, resources, and strength in community. Established Fall 2023, Yarnies541 is an open and inclusive group of yarn craft enthusiasts seeking to cultivate a strong craft community and promote the advancement of fiber art hand crafts in the Eugene-Springfield and greater Lane County areas. Tuesday Eugene meetups: 5:30-ish pm at Oakshire Brewing located at 207 Madison in EUGENE. Outside food welcome, please purchase beverages at venue.
Thursday Springfield meetups: 5:30-ish pm at Oakshire Commons located at 416 Main St. in SPRINGFIELD. Outside food welcome, please purchase beverages at venue. Yarnies get 10% off their tab during meetup hours! Big thank you to the generosity of Oakshire!

BUSINESS meetings: Second OR Third Sunday of the month, 5:30pm-7:30 pm. Please see the Yarnies541 calendar above. Held at the Stringfield Yarn Collective space located at 175 S. 5th Street in Springfield, Oregon (right next to Mezza Luna Pizza in Springfield. Free street parking as well as free parking in the empty bank lot across the street from the shop. *Do not park in alley behind the shop!). Social crafting while we settle into the meeting. NO BUSINESS MEETING HELD IN JUNE, JULY, AUGUST.
